Notes to the Readers:

December 2, 2008:

The endnotes for The New Testament Code are now complete. Thanks for all the patience and support. Any corrections will be posted to the Endnotes page, so check back for any updates. But that should just about do it.

May 15th, 2007:

Owing to technical problems and overwhelming teaching commitments (and the sheer weight of footnotes), Professor Eisenman has been unable to fully turn his attention to the remaining footnotes for his book. Now, he has and he expects to be able to turn out the rest in the coming months. We beg the reader's patience and forgiveness for this and express the sincere hope that he or she will understand. The footnotes which were left in the manuscript in the editing process turned out to be much more extensive than necessary but, as already explained, it was thought better to get the book out rather than delay publication another year or two. Bear with us and watch for them as we will now have time to complete them with a cooler head now that the rush and crush of publishing is over and the proper amount of time is available to attend to this great number. Once again, we apologize for this inconvenience but it was well-intended.

March 5, 2008:

We are sorry for the delay in posting these Endnotes. As you can see, there are many of them. This was the hardest job I have ever done. We will continue. Please bear with us. Hundreds and hundreds of notes were left in this book for your edification and benefit, but to do them properly takes time and much effort. Our apologies. Be patient and we will continue in the end. Again, thanks for your understanding and interest.
